Hey! I’m Patrice

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion to support others as they navigate through some of their most difficult seasons of life. My goal is to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of what they’re experiencing, help them feel grounded in day-to-day life, and learn to show up as their most authentic self.

I started my career as a social worker 12 years ago, working in housing and career agencies and supporting K-12 students in school settings. After working in schools, I transitioned into private practice following the call to work more closely with teens and adults. I have also been an adjunct instructor within Spring Arbor University’s social work program, supporting upcoming mental health clinicians for the last 5 years.

My Approach

Two women sitting on a gray couch, looking at a colorful laptop together in a bright, cozy living room with large windows, plants, and decorative wall hanging.

My clients describe me as personable, empathetic, insightful, and skilled. When I show up as myself, it helps my clients to do the same, adding to their comfort. This allows for a successful therapy experience. I work hard to create a non-judgmental space by using humor, showing respect, using curiosity, and leading with grace and kindness.

I’m the therapist who will always get what you’re trying to say.

I will gently push you by asking the hard questions, while providing the time and space needed to process. If you are looking for a therapist that feels like home, you are in the right place!

My approach involves a person-centered and holistic approach, which means I focus on the individual, emphasizing self-discovery and growth. The client is the expert in my sessions. My goal is for you to always leave our sessions with something informational or practical. To ensure this, I utilize evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Trauma-Informed approaches.
